RM Decorating was established in 2015 in
Beautiful Kelowna BC to serve customers throughout the sunny Okanagan Valley. Prior to that, owner, Robert Munteanu worked for 15 years in the prestigious Muskoka region and in the Greater Toronto area as highly sought after painter. His skill in custom finishes, attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are trademarks of Roberts business.

We accept payment in form of a Cheque, Cash or E-transfer. All payments regardless of type are subject to General Sales Tax (GST) only no PST as this is a service based fee.
We may or may not be able to bill your insurance company depending on various factors as each situation is unique, but in the event we cannot bill your insurance company we will provide all the documentation that you need to file for reimbursement.
Once you accept our services a 40% deposit is required before we can fit your project in our schedule. As a smaller company this deposit is two fold in that it allows us to easily purchase all materials for your project, and secondly as our schedule fills up quickly at the beginning of each year a deposit secures your project for commencing.
Payment in full is due upon the last day of completion of the project unless prior arrangements have been made. This final payment will be the total project amount less the deposit amount paid at time of scheduling. The final Payment may also include any additional costs during the project that was agreed upon in writing either by text or email by you the owner or manager of the project.
All estimates in the Kelowna area are free of charge. If you live outside of the Kelowna area what we like to do is have a phone call to discuss the scope of your job to give you a rough estimate to see if that is a realistic figure for your project and then if so we will proceed to visit in person to give you a quote in writing. Because of the time and cost to go outside of our service area there could be a travel time charge however this charge is taken off the project cost if our services are secured.
All of our estimates include a fully detailed scope of the work to be completed. You will receive a written report with a breakdown of the cost and time estimated for your project.
Yes we can. Obviously there would be certain factors that would dictate wether we could facilitate a job out of our service area but that can be discussed over the phone or through email.
Projects don't always go according to plan and delays are sometimes unavoidable as In the case of a new home or home under renovations or remodelling. With sometimes many trades being involved timing is tricky. Material supply delays and worker shortage can affect your project which of course affects when you can have the painting started. If you are facing delays on your project we will do our best to accommodate any changes needed to the start date.
We communicate with you every step of the way. If we can see that we will not have the work completed by the agreed-upon time, we will reach out to get a new completion date.
Your accountant would be able to accurately inform you of any write offs you may have due to any maintenance costs but as a general rule if your project is business related then some if not all project cost could be used as a tax write off. .
